Sunset Through Reeds

Counselling for adults and young people (18+)

Life can sometimes feel difficult to make sense of.

You may know exactly what has brought you to counselling, or you may simply have a feeling that something isn't quite right anymore. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or carrying things that have become too heavy to manage alone.

You don't need to arrive with everything worked out. In fact, many people don't.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, explore what's happening, and begin to understand your experiences without judgement or pressure to be anything other than yourself.

What might bring you to counselling?

People come to counselling for many different reasons, including:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Low mood or depression

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Life changes and transitions

  • Low self-esteem or confidence

  • Feeling stuck or overwhelmed

  • Family difficulties

  • Identity and self-discovery

Whatever your reason, your experience doesn't have to fit neatly into a category to deserve attention.

How I work

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet you as an individual, rather than expecting you to fit one particular model of therapy.

At the heart of my work is a warm, collaborative relationship where we can explore your experiences together, helping you understand not only what's happening now, but also the patterns that may have shaped how you relate to yourself and others.

You can read more about my training and professional background on my Qualifications & Experience page.
