About Danielle
I came to counselling after many years of working closely with people in creative, educational, and supportive roles. I’ve always been drawn to the quieter spaces, where real conversation can happen, where someone feels safe enough to be themselves. My background includes work in the arts and voice work, which has shaped how I listen and how I hold space for others. I value depth, humour, and honesty. Becoming a counsellor felt like a natural step, a way to bring together my experience, empathy, and belief in the power of being truly heard.
In 2021, I qualified as a Certified Life Coach with The Coaching Academy, gaining skills to help people explore possibilities and take meaningful steps towards their goals.
In 2023 I wanted to work at a deeper emotional level and I completed the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills and Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (BACP).
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
In 2025, I achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling (BACP).
I volunteer as a counsellor with Mind (adults) and NKC (working with young people).
This training allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting to what becomes most helpful for each individual as our work unfolds.
