About Danielle
I came to counselling after many years of working closely with people in creative, educational, and supportive roles. I’ve always been drawn to the quieter spaces, where real conversation can happen, where someone feels safe enough to be themselves. My background includes work in the arts and voice work, which has shaped how I listen and how I hold space for others. I value depth, humour, and honesty. Becoming a counsellor felt like a natural step, a way to bring together my experience, empathy, and belief in the power of being truly heard.
I also have personal insight into living with Type 1 diabetes, including an understanding of the ongoing emotional and mental load that can come with it — the pressure, the expectations, and the experience of being misunderstood, both socially and within medical settings.
