Welcome to The Counselling Studio. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

• We provide counselling and coaching services, including presenting workshops.

• Our services are intended to support personal growth and wellbeing and do not replace medical advice.

2. Appointments and Cancellations

• Sessions are by appointment only.

• Please give at least 24/48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur the full session fee.

3. Fees and Payment

• Counselling Sessions: 50-minute weekly sessions are £80 each, payable in advance via online banking.

• Workshops: Fees are tailored to each session and discussed individually.

• Updates: Fees may be updated; any changes will be communicated in advance.

4. Confidentiality

• All information shared during sessions is treated confidentially in line with BACP professional standards.

• Exceptions include situations where disclosure is legally required:

  • Risk of harm to yourself or others

  • Suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult

5. Client Responsibilities

• You agree to participate in sessions honestly and respectfully.

• Counselling effectiveness depends on engagement.

6. Online Sessions

• Clients must ensure a private, secure environment for online sessions.

• ​We are not responsible for technical issues outside our control, such as internet disruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Services are provided in good faith.

• We cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from counselling or coaching sessions.

8. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

• Updated versions will be posted on this page.

9. How we work

• During our first session we will agree dates/times of sessions.
